On a comment by J. P. B. VreeburgThis note addresses Vreeburg's (1990) comment on the paper by Langbein et al. (1990) regarding parabolic flight experiments on fluid surfaces and wetting. This last work in turn concerns the work of the present authors on capillary free surfaces in the absence of gravity (1974).
