Algorithms For Compression Of Polarimetric-Radar Image DataTwo sets of algorithms provide moderate improvements in compression and decompression of scattering-matrix data from polarimetric imaging radar system. Algorithms operate on original single-look scattering matrices, do not symmetrize scattering matrices and, preserve asymmetrical data on background-noise and equipment effects.
