Making Conductive, Compliant Heat-Transfer PadsComposite copper/tungsten pads developed for use in thermoelectric generators. Pads thermally and electrically conductive and compliant enough to accommodate large mismatches in thermal expansion between different parts. Each pad consists of tungsten fibers in copper matrix interconnecting pair of tungsten face sheets.
