Use of SEA to Predict Structure-Borne Noise in AircraftA Statistical Energy Analysis is used to predict aircraft noise from the structural components. Structural-borne noise is vibration: (1) generated at one location; (2) transmitted by the structure to other locations; and (3) radiated into the cabin as noise. All results are presented in viewgraph format.
