Radiative transfer in inhomogeneous cloudsRecent developments in the theory of radiative transfer are discussed, with emphasis on problems related to scattering and emission of radiant energy in generally inhomogeneous clouds. A method for solving the transfer equation based on Fourier transform technique is outlined.
