Combustion kinetics and sensitivity analysis computationsThe stiff ordinary differential equation solution methods more commonly used for chemical kinetics problems are examined, and the efficiency and accuracy of several of the methods are compared by applying them to two combustion kinetics problems. The local sensitivity analysis methods developed to date are outlined, and their advantages and difficulties are briefly discussed. Examples are used to make comparisons among the different techniques.
