POINT - An automated system for the solution of complex sequencing problemsTwo sets of equations are defined: the first is used to derive ordering constraints from a set of operations, while the second is employed to validate proposed plans for performing those operations. These equations, together with related algorithms for the analysis and normalization of temporal constraints, form the basis of POINT (Propositional Objects for INferences over Time).
