GRIS instrument continuum results from SN1987AResults on the continuum emission from SN1987A from two balloon flights of gamma-ray imaging spectrometer over Alice Springs, Australia, in the spring and fall of 1988 are presented. The durations of the two observations were 11.2 and 11.7 hours, respectively. The measured continuum spectra (95-2560 keV for the spring and 55-2560 keV for the fall) are consistent with Compton scattering of the Co-56 decay lines. The 10HMM model agrees well with continuum data in the energy dependence of the continuum both in the slope of the spectra and the step increases below the 2599, 1238, and 847 keV Co-56 decay lines.
