Calorimetric Vacuum Emissometry At 773 To 923 KReport describes design, construction, and tests of calorimetric vacuum emissometer (CVE) intended to measure total hemispherical emittances of materials in vacuum at temperatures from 773 to 923 K. Results of measurements by CVE compared with those of hohlraum (blackbody) reflectometer and open-air elevated-temperature emissometer. CVE measurements take more time but more accurate.
