Catalog of infrared and cryo-optical properties for selected materialsThis report will describe the status of an effort to catalog the refractive index, absorption, reflectance and transmittance of selected IR transmitting materials over the wavelength range from 1 to 1000 microns, and at temperatures from 300 to about 2 K. Data are presented for LiF, CaF2, BaF2, KBr, and TlBr, as well as for KRS-5 (TlBr-I) and KRS-6 (TlBr-Cl). A cryooptical measurements facility at NASA-Goddard, which has been used to generate some of the cataloged data, is also described.
