Generating High-Pressure Oxygen ElectrolyticallyElectrolytic cell generates oxygen directly at high pressure at point of use. System makes it unnecessary to use heavy, bulky air compressor or to ship compressed oxygen in heavy tanks. Produces hydrogen as byproduct, at pressure that may be different from that of oxygen, if desired. Cathode also barrier that lets gases collect at widely differing pressures.
