Non-rectangular towpreg architecturesA shaped towpreg ribbon having a cross-sectional geometry which promotes intimate lateral contact between adjacent composite tows was prepared. The cross-sectional geometry is non-rectangular and promotes intimate lateral contact between adjacent towpreg ribbons during normal processing.
