Remote sensing of cometary dust and comparisons to IDPsComets are the best link we have to the composition of the primitive solar nebula. They have remained relatively unaltered since their formation in the outer, colder parts of the solar nebula. The topics covered include in situ sampling and infrared spectroscopy.
