Kapton pyrolysis, the space environment and wiring requirementsNew Low Earth Orbit (LEO) requirements of space environment wiring are compared with traditional requirements. The pyrolysis of Kapton is reviewed for the LeRc vacuum chamber and the 1989 SSF. SEEB modeling of Kapton pyrolysis is also presented.
