Computation of wave propagation in a complex flowA numerical method has been developed in order to address aeroacoustic problems modeled by the linearized Euler equations. A weak formulation of the equations leads to a time-dependent equation for the test functions. The basic solver being one dimensional, two dimensional problems are handled by directional splitting. This method shows low dissipation and dispersion errors.
