More About Pressure Probes For Turbulent FlowsArray of probes yields data on static and total pressures and cross-stream turbulence. Is combination of separate pressure-probe arrays described in "Measuring Streamwise Momentum and Cross-Stream Turbulence" (ARC-11934), and "Probe Rakes To Measure Static Pressure and Turbulence" (ARC-12973). Equations that express directional responses of various probes in array solved together to eliminate unknown quantities; makes it possible to process digitized time-averaged probe readings together to obtain time-averaged static, stagnation, and cross-stream-turbulence pressures.
