Recent Advances in Particle Image VelocimetryThis paper presents new trends in Particle Image Velocimetry and practical aspects relevant to the application of the technique to large scale wind tunnel testing. The various problems and their solutions to the operation of PIV in large scale wind tunnels are discussed. Application of the technique in mapping complex flows are also presented.
