Chromospheric Doppler ImagingWe reanalyzed the IUE data from the 1991, 1993, and 1995 AR Lac campaigns. Doppler imaging analyses show evidence for asymmetric chromospheric flux distributions, but the plages are not as compact as they were in the 1980's. The expected 1997 data were not obtained due to the failure of the IUE. A discussion of the data, the problems, and the initial results, is in "Stellar Chromospheres", F.M. Walter, in "Stellar Surface Structure", ed. K.G. Strassmeier & J.L. Linsky (Dordrecht:Kluwer) (1996), p. 355. We are currently working on a paper based on this work.
