A Source Survey in a High Galactic Latitude FieldThe subject grant is for work on the study of X-ray sources detected in a 20 ks high Galactic latitude pointing with the ROSAT PSPC. The purpose of the study is to: compare the detected source population with the log N - log S relationship; and to identify sources which show variability or particularly anomalous X-ray behavior. As detailed below, several concrete identifications of sources detected in this observation have been made, and the overall flux distribution of the detected sources is typical of the overall population at high latitude. No highly variable sources, were identified. This summary serves as the final report for this study.
