X-33 Program OverviewAn X-33 program overview is presented in viewgraph form. The objective of the research was to build and test a 50% scale prototype of an operational Reusable Launch Vehicle in a realistic flight environment. Technologies to be demonstrated include reusable cryogenic tankage, composite structures, durable thermal protection systems, advanced avionics, reliable propulsion systems, and aircraft-like operations.
