Chemical Biomarkers and Microfossils in Carbonaceous MeteoritesChemical, mineral and morphological biomarkers and microfossils are present in a wide variety of ancient rocks and meteorites. We discuss previous results and present images of microfossils of cyanobacteria, magnetotactic bacteria, and acritarchs detected in the Orgueil, Mighei, Nogoya, and Murchison carbonaceous meteorites.
