A New Interpretation of the CrO-Photoelectron Detachment ExperimentCASSCF/MRCI calculations are performed on CrO(-) and CrO. The ground state of CrO(-) is identified as 4-II, not 6-Epsilon(+), as recently suggested. We assign the experimental detachment features to the seven one-electron processes arising from the two ion states.
