Durability Assessment of Various Gamma TiAl AlloysSeven cast and one wrought gamma-alloys were ballistically impacted and tested under high cycle fatigue. The fatigue strength of each alloy was characterized as a function of initial flaw size and modeled using a threshold-based fracture mechanics approach.
