The DART System for Far-IR/Submillimeter Space MissionsThe DART is a system of two cylindrical-parabolic reflectors. One reflector will produce a line focus; two reflectors properly oriented will produce a point focus. For far-infrared/submillimeter missions, the DART presents a compelling new telescope architecture that is scalable to alrge apertures, and with it's large membrane area is well suited to passive cooling.
