Interface Transmission Problem: Category 1, Problem 2, Analytical SolutionOf interest to the present problem is when the incident angle is large so that sin2 Theta > alpha. In this case, T is no longer real suggesting that there is no transmitted wave or the incident wave is totally reflected at the interface. This is true for alpha = 0.694 and Theta = 65 degrees , which is one of the cases prescribed in this benchmark problem.
