Dynamic Model Tests of Models of the McDonnell Design of Project Mercury Capsule in the Langley 20-Foot Free-Spinning TunnelOn 10 June 1961, 33 tests of the aerodynamic response of the McDonnell model Mercury capsule were conducted. Variables included spin, different parachute tethers, and the addition of baffles.
