SERVIR: The Regional Visualization and Monitoring SystemThis slide presentation reviews the SERVIR program. SERVIR is a partnership between NASA and USAID and three international nodes: Central America, Africa, and the Himalaya region. SERVIR,using satellite observations and ground based observations, is used by decision makers to allow for improved monitoring of air quality, extreme weather, biodiversity, and changes in land cove and has also been used to respond to environmental threats, such as wildfires, floods, landslides, harmful algal blooms, and earthquakes.
