An Upgrade of the Aeroheating Software ''MINIVER''Detailed computational modeling: CFO often used to create and execute computational domains. Increasing complexity when moving from 20 to 30 geometries. Computational time increased as finer grids are used (accuracy). Strong tool, but takes time to set up and run. MINIVER: Uses theoretical and empirical correlations. Orders of magnitude faster to set up and run. Not as accurate as CFO, but gives reasonable estimations. MINIVER's Drawbacks: Rigid command-line interface. Lackluster, unorganized documentation. No central control; multiple versions exist and have diverged.
