Lidar Systems - Where We AreA general review of the past ten years of LIDAR system development will be presented. Equipment problems and many of their solutions are discussed. These include problems with photomultipliers, lasers, interference filters, data acquisition, etc. Calibration and alignment techniques are also presented. Instrumentation for multi-wavelength, Raman, doppler, monostatic and bistatic techniques being used by various researchers are described. New developments and a gaze into the future are included.
