Aerosol observations from SAGE III on the International Space Station: Visualizing Wildfires and Volcanic EruptionsThe Stratospheric Gas and Aerosol Experiment (SAGE III) aboard the International Space Station has been monitoring ozone, aerosols, and other trace gases in the stratosphere and troposphere since its 2017 launch. This presentation describes aerosol observations from SAGE, demonstrating its ability to observe volcanic eruptions and increasingly frequent wildfires, like those that occurred in the western US this year.
