Mapping Volcanic Gas Emissions in the Mammoth Mountain Area Using AvirisThe Long Valley Caldera located in the eastern Sierra Nevada (California) shows new signs of volcanic activity. This renewed activity is expressed by gas emissions, hydro-thermal activity and frequent earthquakes.
