Julia Language 1.1 Ephemeris Reader and Gravitational Modeling Program for Solar System BodiesThis paper analyzes the advancements to the Julia Language 1.1 Ephemeris and Physical constants Reader including the addition of gravitational modeling. Originally written in MATLAB, this Julia Language program is intended to be used in for trajectory design. Written in an open-source coding language, this ephemeris reader can output the state of planetary bodies including asteroids as well as other constants such as gravitational parameters. Two primary methods were chosen to calculate the gravitational potentials which include polyhedral modeling and spherical harmonics.
