Microbial Toxin Gene Detection in Foods using a MinION Mk1CThis project investigated the ability of the MinION Mk1C to detect low levels of microbial toxin genes in foods using metagenomics. The application focus is to help enable the safe consumption of spaceflight-grown food. This study will help further the understanding of next generation microbial detection methods for spaceflight.
