COTS Camera and Computer-based Open-source Star TrackerThe NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) and other partners have developed and verified a software suite intended to allow users with little-to-no experience with star trackers/attitude estimation to assemble, deploy, calibrate, and operate a star tracker using COTS cameras and computers. This software is open source, written in Python 3, and has been demonstrated across a variety of computers, operating systems, and cameras. The first release of the software is now available to download at the link below. We’re excited to see what you do with it!
