Efficient Methods for Aircraft Frequency Response Estimation at NASAMethods developed at NASA for efficiently estimating multiple-input multiple-output frequency responses of various aircraft control loops are discussed. These methods use simultaneous orthogonal multisine excitations and ratios of input-output Fourier transform data that can be computed in real time. An example is given to demonstrate some of the methods using flight test data for the X-56A airplane.
