Haystack Ultra-Wideband Satellite Imaging Radar Measurements of the Orbital Debris Environment: 2020This report summarizes radar measurement data of the orbital debris (OD) environment in low Earth orbit (LEO) from the Haystack Ultra-wideband Satellite Imaging Radar (HUSIR) operated by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Lincoln Laboratory (MIT/LL) and provided to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Orbital Debris Program Office (ODPO). This report includes an overview of HUSIR’s radar systems, radar signal processing, radar measurements, and environment characterization. Some background information, originally presented in previous HUSIR radar reports, is repeated here for the benefit of the reader.
