Upgrading the 14x22 Data Acquisition System (DAS)The 14-by 22-Foot Subsonic Tunnel recently completed development and installation of a new Data Acquisition System for use in the tunnel and in the Rotor Test Cell (RTC). Planning and development of this new system has been ongoing for several years, and installation was performed over this past year. This effort also required an upgrade of the facility infrastructure to support the upgraded power and cooling requirements. This presentation summarizes the new data acquisition system, improved capabilities, challenges of installation, and proposed future enhancements to the system.
