2022 Research & Technology ReportThe 2022 Research and Technology Annual Report represents what is hopefully the “new normal” for portfolio execution. The portfolio took advantage of the best features of the virtual work environment with collaborations across the nation without any geographical constraints. This allowed key partnerships between NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and other NASA centers, other government agencies, industry, and academia. Also, because there were no longer any constraints on laboratory and test capabilities, we were able to make significant progress with hands-on technology development, fabrication and testing that is critical to validating the efficacy of advanced technology.
