Human Performance and FatigueThis presentation summarizes some of the work completed by the Fatigue Countermeasures Lab work for the System-wide Safety Technical Challenge 1. Highlights include the development of the NASA PVT+ application, which includes a validated psychomotor vigilance task, fatigue ratings, hassle factors, fatigue countermeasures, and workload measures. The NASA PVT+ has been used in numerous studies in short and long-haul aviation operations. Two examples of how these have been used in the real world are described.
