RSE Research Autonomous Vehicle (RRAV)Machine learning algorithms have shown promising results in multiple applications, including vision-based navigation and perception. However, oftentimes these algorithms underperform or behave unexpectedly when faced with out-of-distribution data commonly encountered in real-world environments. The RSE Research Autonomous Vehicle (RRAV) is a platform used to investigate the reliability and robustness of computer vision algorithms in real-world, dynamic environments. Results from RRAV experiments help researchers determine best practices and techniques to help move towards safer and more reliable autonomy.
