Metric Variability in A Fine-Resolution Microphone Array at NASA Quesst Mission Phase 2 Dry RunIn preparation for the planned NASA Quesst Mission Phase 2 acoustic validation flights of the X-59 aircraft, NASA conducted a dry run flight test with F-15 aircraft. During the test, a ground-based, two-dimensional microphone array, ARray Instrumentation for Sonic Thump Observations in TurbuLEnce (ARISTOTLE), was used to measure 19 sonic booms. The array consists of 61 microphones with 25 ft and 50 ft spacing, over a total 1,000 ft x 1,000 ft aperture. The variability of human perception-based metrics across the array is analyzed and related to weather and turbulence measurements. [Work supported through a NASA Graduate Research Fellowship.]
