NASA Spacecraft Conjunction Assessment and Collision Avoidance Best Practices Handbook, Volume 1This document provides spacecraft owners and operators a reference document describing existing NASA conjunction assessment and collision avoidance practices. Best practices for each topic are described and justified throughout this document by mission phase. For NASA programs and projects, this document provides implementation guidance in support of NASA policy.

This is the second revision of the document, now in two volumes. The first volume contains the main handbook and recommended best practices. The second volume (NASA-SP-20205011318/REV2-VOL2) contains the supporting technical appendices (E and beyond), including copies of appendices A (Acronyms) and B (Glossary) for convenience.
