Intensity measurements of the 0,0 band of the a/3 Pi/-Chi/1 Sigma/ Cameron system of CO.The band strength of the 0,0 band of a CO Cameron system has been determined from measurements of the equivalent widths of a number of resolved rotational lines. Equivalent widths were converted to line strengths using a Doppler curve of growth. The result obtained agrees almost exactly with that of Fairbairn (1970).
