Comparison of flight and wind tunnel measurements of jet noise for the XV-5B aircraftWind tunnel tests to determine noise data from scale model research aircraft are discussed. Comparisons are made between data obtained in wind tunnels and results of full scale flight tests. The acoustic measurements for the XV-5B V/STOL fan research aircraft are presented.
