Development of Sensitive and Direct Methods for Measuring Plasma Aldosterone and Catecholamine ConcentrationsRadioimmunoassays for renin activity, angiotensin 1, and angiotensin 2 in the study of vasomotor regulation give new insight into the role of the renin system in maintaining postural homeostatsis. Similar laboratory procedures for specific assays of aldosterone and catecholamines achieve accurate determinations in small human blood samples.
