Small scale analogs of the Cayley Formation and Descarts Mountains in impact associated deposits, part CThe exploration of the Cayley Formation and material of the Descartes Mountains and an understanding of the origin and evolution of these units were primary objectives of the Apollo 16 lunar mission.
