Luna 20 pyroxenes - Exsolution and phase transformation as indicators of petrologic history.Description of several pyroxene crystals from a small Luna 20 soil sample which show features comparable to those observed in pyroxenes from layered intrusions. The observed characteristics suggest that many of the bronzite and pigeonite crystals found were derived from rocks crystallized from a high level magma chamber in the lunar highland crust.
