Classical study of rotational excitation of a rigid rotor - Li/+/ + H2. II - Correspondence with quantal resultsFurther classical trajectory calculations of the rotational excitation of H2 in collision with Li(+) have been carried out in order to assess several alternative classical-quantal correspondence relationships. The results are compared with exact quantal cross sections computed for the same model system by Lester and Schaefer (1973).
