Autocorrelation function of scattered light for a binary fluid near the critical mixing pointA time-to-amplitude conversion technique was applied to measure the second-order autocorrelation function of light scattering by a binary fluid from concentration fluctuations of the fluid very close to the critical point. The experimental setup included two photomultipliers, a time-to-amplitude converter, and a pulse height analyzer.
