Poly/diphenylsiloxy/arylazines. I - Synthesis and characterizationA detailed description is presented for the synthesis of poly(diphenylsiloxy)arylazines by the melt polymerization of hydroxyarylazines and bis(anilino)diphenylsilane. The resulting polymers have been characterized by elemental analysis, gel-permeation chromatography, vapor-phase osmometry, and UV-VIS-IR optical spectroscopy.
